Daniel Pineda Steps In For Injured George Roop At UFC 149

An injury to George Roop (12-9-1) has forced the featherweight out of an upcoming bout with Antonio ‘Pato Carvalho (13-5) in Calgary next month at UFC 149.

Stepping in for Roop will be Texas based fighter Daniel Pineda (17-8), who enters the match a month after his previous bout.

The news was announced by UFC officials at
