WWE Champion C.M. Punk has become one of the longestreigning WWE World Champions in recent memory. He's held the WWE Championship on Monday Night Raw for over eight months now and he very well could be approaching John Cena's 12month Title reign from September of 2006 until September of 2007. C.M. Punk has a loyal cult following, but there are also some WWE fans who are not too fond of Punk, just like many fans are divided about John Cena. Some wrestling fans enjoy long Championship Title reigns, while others would rather not see a wrestler hold a Championship for a very long period of time. C.M. Punk has many top contenders to his WWE Championship. John Cena, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Lord Tensai, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, possibly even Brock Lesnar.
