Ken Shamrock Facing Possible Lawsuit

UFC Hall of Famer and exWWE Superstar Ken Shamrock is facing a possible lawsuit stemming from the fight between two women that he helped break up earlier this month at a California shopping mall. TMZ.com previously reported that Shamrock was jumped during the fight by someone he thought was a man. He took down the individual and applied some sort of hold, only to immediately stop after he was told the individual was a woman. It was also reported that an officer on the scene filed a battery report against Shamrock, but prosecutors strongly believed that he would not face any charges since it was clear that he thought he was acting in self defense after being jumped. In an update, the woman in question, Melinda Garcia, has stated that she intends to file a lawsuit against Shamrock if the police fail to press charges against him themselves.
