TNA officials have been passing around ideas to limit on the amount of times they would go live at their Impact Wrestling tapings being held on the eastern time zone. One idea being considered is to air the show at least an hour after it begins being taped for SpikeTV.
Officials believe that the live audience generally isn’t as enthusiastic during the second tapings because it falls on a work and school day. Attendance levels for the second half of their tapings have gone decreased as well.
TNA is also discussing plans to tape segments for the first hour with no commercial breaks which would bring the amount of wait required to 100 minutes or less. Doing so would allow the second show to be taped between 8:40PM and 10:15PM.
