While preparing for a "life beyond wrestling" (e.g. her country music), TNA Knockouts champion Mickie James says she is "not ready to retire yet."
“I recognize that I can’t wrestle for the rest of my life,” Mickie told the "Overdrive" publication. “I’m not ready to retire yet. Hopefully, even if the music does take off, wrestling will always be a part of my life, whether it’s a special appearance or something else.”
Mickie said she hopes to have another album out by the end of this year or early next year. "I want to see how this album does and in that time keep learning as an artist," Mickie said.
