CM Punk Provides Update on New WWE Title Design

CM Punk was asked at the Comic-Con panel over the weekend when the new design for the WWE Championship would be unveiled. Punk said that he had no idea, but that “they’re working on it.”


Punk was then asked if he had any input in the new belt, to which he replied, “I’d like to say that I have a little bit of say in that, but I just keep getting the runaround. I don’t know if they’re saving the new design for somebody else or what the deal is. But they’re sick of me asking about it, I know that.”

Would Dana White Bring Back Brock Lesnar To UFC?

During the UFC on Fuel 5 postfight press conference on Saturday night in Nottingham, England, UFC President Dana White noted he would be open for Brock Lesnar to return to his organization if he wanted another fight: “Sure, I would bring Brock back. If Brock wanted to fight in the UFC, I would do it,” White said. Talking about Lesnar going to WWE earlier this year, White said that his deal with the UFC expired with the fight against Alistair Overeem and Lesnar was free to pursue other deals, ultimately choosing to return to the WWE. Lesnar has a mega deal with the WWE, one that runs into millions for just only a limited number of appearances. His one year deal runs out at next year’s WrestleMania, ensuring that the former WWE and UFC Heavyweight champion wrestles in New Jersey next year. John Cena Removed From WWE Raw Advertising

WWE.com is no longer advertising John Cena for Raw tomorrow at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He appeared with his arm in a sling on last week’s show after undergoing surgery on Sept. 18 to remove bone chips in his elbow. The prognosis for his recovery was announced as six to eight weeks.

WWE Champion CM Punk was questioned at yesterday's ComicCon regarding the new WWE title belt which has been in production for some time now. As far as the belt being launched soon they're working on it said Punk. Eve Torres Wins Reality Show Competition, Sons Of Sheamus, Kharma?


- After four weeks of competition, Eve Torres reigned supreme in NBC’s reality program Stars Earn Stripes.


Torres collected a $100,000 check for the USO in the final moments of the two-hour finale. She and her mentor, former Army Green Beret Grady Powell, won an elaborate contest that included jumping out of a helicopter, climbing aboard a ship and shooting targets.


Olympic gold-medal skier Picabo Street finished in second; actor Dean Cain was third; and Todd Palin, husband of former Gov. Sarah Palin, was fourth.


Torres will be interviewed on G4′s Attack of the Show!...

Paul Heyman Returns to WWE TV, Punk DVD Screening, Allstate Arena Pre-Sale

- The presale password to obtain tickets to the December 26th WWE Smackdown live event from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois is WWEHOLIDAY.


- WWE will be screening the new CM Punk: Best in the World documentary with Punk on October 7, 2012 from The Portage Theatre free for the first 1000 fans. The screening will take place from 1-3 PM.


- At the conclusion to WWE Raw tonight, Paul Heyman returned to WWE TV to begin associating with CM Punk.


Earlier in the evening, Punk left Raw in a getaway car. Punk later returned at the end of the show to KO John Cena, allowing Alberto Del Rio to pin Cena in the main event. Heyman then revealed himself to be the driver of Punk’s getaway car as Raw signed off.

The Miz Gets Jumped After Raw Goes Off The Air

After tonight’s episode of Raw went off the air, Punk came out to the ring and feigned rapping. Punk spoke about how he was supposed to face John Cena, but Cena was in no condition to wrestle. Cena came out and attacked Punk. Alberto Del Rio came out to make the save, however Sheamus then ran out, followed by Dolph Ziggler and Antonio Cesaro.


CM Punk was running to the back as Randy Orton came out to help Sheamus and Cena beat up the heels. The heels saw The Miz, grabbed him, and threw him inside the ring. Cena, Shamus and Orton surrounded him. All of the babyfaces hit their finishers on Miz to close the show.


Rumored Night of Champions Matches to Be Announced…

Miguel Torres Joins The World Series of Fighting Promotion Following Second UFC Release



Former WEC bantamweight champ Miguel Angel Torres (40-5) has signed a three-fight contract with the Las Vegas based MMA World Series of Fighting promotion, which has it’s first event scheduled for November 3, 2012 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.


News of Torres’ signing was confirmed by MMAFighting.com on Sunday who spoke with promotion senior executive vice president Ali Abdel-Aziz.
