WWE announced on Friday’s Smackdown that Kaitlyn will face Layla at the Night of Champions pay-per-view for the Divas Title. Here is the updated line-up for Night of Champions.
- WWE Champion C.M. Punk vs. John Cena for the WWE Title.
- World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Title.
- Divas Champion Layla vs. Kaitlyn for the Divas Title.

On him leaving the WWE for a while: Vince knew and I knew for the entire run that I would be leaving as soon as the new record came out (Sin and Bones). We knew the entire time what my time frame was. Originally I was supposed to leave at the end of May and then I signed for another 3 months, and the record got pushed back. But I didn’t know until the day I showed up, actually ten minutes before Raw started in Fresno that we were doing this contract vs contract thing. So I didn’t even know this was going to happen. I just figured I would have a match with Dolph and that would be the end of it. So people who think that there is some long, drawn out, plan. I t really wasn’t. It was about ten minutes before the show started and I was like “Oh, we are doing a contract vs contract thing? Oh ok.” So there you go, a little special behind the scenes look.

- John Laurinaitis has recovered from his injury and is back working dark main events. Laurinaitis appeared at the end of John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Big Show in Brisbane. Laurinaitis attacked Cena with a steel chair but caught an Attitude Adjustment.

- Regarding Cameron’s DUI arrest, F4Wonline.com reports that the feeling within WWE is that she probably would have been fine with management if not for the story coming out about her trying to bribe police with $10,000 and the fact that she didn’t list WWE as her employer. Most feel that mistake might cause her a job. With that said, there’s still no word on what kind of action WWE will take.
- PWInsider.com reports that CM Punk’s apparent blade job on Monday’s RAW was being talked about backstage among the wrestlers. They add that Punk continuing to refer to himself as a wrestler, being a hardcore heel to Jerry Lawler and bleeding in the main event has led to hope that part of RAW will start to have a harder edge to it.

- Keeping up with the current tag team storyline on SmackDown, Epico went on Twitter and shared why he and Primo should be the #1 contenders to Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. He wrote:

- Diamond Dallas Page revealed on Twitter that some of the wrestling stars now using his DDPYOGA program include Roddy Piper, Shane Helms, Stevie Richards, Scotty Riggs, Bobby Lashley. Actor Gabriel Iglesias is also using it to get in shape. As we have mentioned in the past, several WWE stars are using the program.

The New York Bad Ass is back. Or, he's back to winning, anyway. Phil Baroni won with ease on Friday over Rodrigo Ribeiro at ONE FC 5 with a stoppage that came as a result of soccer kicks.
The end came at 1:00 just of round 1.
Baroni opened the round landing a crisp right hand that rattled Ribeiro and had him immediately diving for takedowns. The AKA product was able to stop the attempts with a formidable sprawl and front head lock.
Ribeiro was able to launch no offense either from takedown or guard. The end came as Ribeiro's back was against the mat and fence and Baroni unloaded with head kicks from the standing position. Ribeiro turtled up on his right hip leaving referee Yuji Shimada no alternative but to stop the bout.

- Clearing up CM Punk’s Twitter posts where he responded to reports of blading on RAW, F4Wonline.com reports that he was not fined any amount of money, especially a huge amount like $500,000, and there was no fine issued to referee Charles Robinson. Punk’s posts were tongue-in-cheek and word is that WWE officials believe the cut on his head was from hitting the cage.

Rarely is late-night news ever good in the sport's world, whether it's a random arrest or another failed drug test. Sometimes you even wake up and an entire UFC event is about to be cancelled.
