Former WWE and WCW wrestler Richard “Dirty Dick” Slater was arrested earlier this morning by Pinellas Park, FL Police on a charge of failure to appear in court on a petit theft charge.
Slater was scheduled to appear in court on February 25th after being arrested on February 5th, but failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on a bond of $2,026.

Ryder went on state: “This year there are a lot of mixed emotions. It’s going to be cool that Wrestlemania is back in New York and New Jersey, I went to Wrestlemania X and XX as a fan and last year I had my first Wrestlemania match so it is cool. At the same time I’m not on the show so it’s not cool and I wish it was somewhere else because all of my friends and family are going to be there and I’m not going to be on it so that part stinks. It’s great that such a huge event is going to be at MetLife Stadium, Rock and John Cena the rematch, it’s going to be historic. Whether Zack Ryder is on the card or not, Wrestlemania is going to be the show of the year and maybe the best one yet.”

A Tampa FOX affiliate reports that retired pro-wrestler Richard “Dirty Dick” Slater was arrested this morning by Pinellas Park, Florida police.
The 61-year-old Tampa Robinson High School product was booked into the Pinellas County Jail where he is being held on a bond of $2,026. Slater was arrested by Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies on a petit theft charge on February 5th. - Pro Wrestling Syndicate has announced that the legendary team of The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff will be making their final appearance ever at their Super Card Night 1 event on April 4th in Metuchen, NJ. This will be the last time they pose together for photos or sign autographs together and the last time they will be in a ring together.
- Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, John Cena met with 16 year old Fahd Al Shehhi while WWE was in Doha, Qatar last week.

Matt Taven won the Top Prospect Tournament to earn a TV Title shot at Adam Cole later on tonight, and this match is made up of six of the seven other men who participated in the tournament. Antonio Thomas is the one . Page and ACH start us off and got back and forth, then Young and Thomas come in and trade shots until Young backdrops him to the floor. Sydal comes in and drills Young with a kick to the side of the head that knocks him to the floor, but Marshall comes in and blindsides Sydal before knocking Page off the apron. ACH catches Marshall with a flying headscissors, then all the other participants take turns beating Marshall up until Page clotheslines him to the floor. Young goes after Page and dumps him out to the apron, and Page comes off the apron with a shooting star press to Thomas on the floor. Barrister RD Evans grabs ACH’...

- The opening graphic runs and we are told by our narrator that Booker T will announce a General Manager for the show today. We see clips of past ‘bosses’ including AJ, Stone Cold, Stephanie McMahon, and Mick Foley.
- We go to the ring for Damien Sandow’s entrance. He cuts a promo on his way to the ring and says there are rumors that Booker T needs help in finding a GM for SMS. He says this position needs wisdom, intelligence, and patience. He silences the crowd and says that man is Damien Sandow.
We cut to Josh Mathews at ringside. Cody Rhodes is applauding on color commentary. Zack Ryder makes his entrance and cuts a promo too. He says Sandow as the GM would be the ‘No Fun Zone.’ He says this show deserves a party everyday. He throws his name into the hat for consideration.

British wrestling is on the agenda once again as we pay a second visit to the land of Grand Pro Wrestling. This time around out DVD review sees us going back in time to June 2012 and the Rose Club in Wigan for Battlefield II.
The show began with an in-ring segment which saw El Ligero inducted into the Mexican Hall of Fame. Well, that was the plan until heinous heel manager Alan Tasker came out to complain about the situation before introducing his own masked Mexican star, El Oscuro.
Oscuro proceeded to attack Ligero and his sombrero-wearing friends before his opponent for the evening, Zack Diamond, appeared to save the day.
What followed was a very entertaining encounter. Diamond controlled the action early on before Oscuro took control. The masked man did a good job of taking Diamond down, with occasional assistance from Mr. Tasker.
Diamond’s final confrontation with Tasker led to his downfall. When the manager jumped onto the ring apron Diamond dragged him ...

Sabu will not be at tonight’s Hardcore Roadtrip show in Canada. He tried to get into Canada at the Niagara Falls border but couldn’t. He drove to Detroit to attempt to get into Ontario from the west side but once again was stopped and denied.
He was scheduled to be in the main event.

Several people have pulled out of their appearances at this weekend’s Hardcore Roadtrip iPPV. The show was set for tomorrow from London, Ontario, Canada with an airing on Ustream but rumors are that the iPPV may be off due to the withdrawals.
Among the withdrawals are Joel Gertner, who announced on Facebook that he had to pull out due to a personal obligation, and Todd Gordon who cited a back issue he has been dealing with as an ongoing problem that was complicated several days back. The health issues are legit. Axl Rotten has also pulled out of the show, as well as CW Anderson who says that he had ...
- Here’s the updated list of RAW shows that Triple H is confirmed for: March 4th, March 11th, March 18th and April 1st.
- Lance Storm will be heading to WWE NXT next week to work with the developmental talents there.
- WWE will be sending William Regal to the WrestleCon event in New Jersey during WrestleMania 29 weekend. Regal will be appearing on WrestleMania Sunday from 10am until noon. WWE is sending Regal to make up for them pulling Bruno Sammartino.

- 2013 WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino will be inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio today. Bruno will also participate in a song being recorded for youth called, “Strong Like Bruno.”
Bruno also joined Twitter this weekend at @sammartinobruno. As of this writing, Bruno is only following Mick Foley and TNA’s Twitter accounts. He sent the following tweets out:
