Cena isn’t expected to miss the Extreme Rules PPV in two weeks on 5/19 when he defends the WWE Championship against Ryback.

Monday night on RAW, WWE began promoting the upcoming Total Divas reality show that will debut on E! this summer. It will be one hour long and feature The Bella Twins, The Funkdactyls, Natyla and two new WWE Divas – Eva Marie & Jo-Jo Offerman. The plan was for the cast of the show to be women who attended WWE’s recent Divas casting call, but the company felt that not enough women would be right for it.
E! camera men were at WrestleMania 29 and got footage of the Bellas and the Funkadactyls being told their mixed tag match (with Brodus Clay, Tensai and Team Rhodes Scholars) would be cut from the PPV. Some are thinking WWE never wanted the match to take place and just wanted to get the reaction of the Divas.
The cast members will be featured prominently on WWE TV through the summer.

Former King of the Cage champion and Strikeforce lightweight fighter Bobby ‘King’ Green (20-5) made a successful Octagon debut last February by submitting Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156. The win also earned Green the “Submission of the Night” bonus for his work. ...WWE have officially announced the creation of their "Performance Center." It will be based in Winter Park, Florida and will replace the FCW/NXT developmental territory in Tampa. The Performance Center will be roughly 26,000 square feet. There will be 7 rings for potential WWE superstars to train in and hone their skills.
...WWE has removed CM Punk from all of their event listings up until Summerslam. Punk is taking time off from the WWE to allow his knee to heal and to rest following his Wrestlemania match with The Undertaker.
Since taking time off, Punk has been seen at UFC events, baseball games, and at the Iron Man 3 premiere in Los Angeles
...- There are tentative plans in the works to try and get another WWE project on cable TV this summer, something that had originally been earmarked for the WWE Network. We noted before that WWE may be bringing NXT to American TV this fall.
There is also talk that WWE’s new deal with Yahoo will be the end of their partnership with YouTube. It’s expected that Hulu will keep airing RAW, SmackDown, Superstars and NXT replays.
WWE’s new deal with Yahoo led to lots more talk at RAW on Monday night that the Network is nowhere near ready. There’s a feeling that show ideas planned for the Network will end up airing on E! and Yahoo.

WWE officials are interested in having The Undertaker wrestle a match at this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.

1. The Beacon Theater venue was a beautiful, classy setting for this event. It reminded me of some of the really well done Hall of Fame events at the smaller theaters.

Here is a very interesting statistic about John Cena in regards to his match at WrestleMania. With his WWE title match against The Rock almost a certainty to go on last, this will be the ninth consecutive WrestleMania that Cena has either closed the show, or fought for the WWE or World titles. The only time Cena has not done this was at WrestleMania XX, where he defeated Big Show for the US title to open. From WrestleMania 21 to this year, he’s either main evented, or fought for either the World or WWE titles.
Until Sunday, he is tied with Hulk Hogan and Triple H with eight. Hogan main evented or fought for a World title at WrestleManias I, II, III, V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX. The only WrestleManias he didn’t do this at were IV, XVIII and XIX. Triple H did it at XVI, XVIII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII, XXIV, and XXV. As previously reported, CM Punk is likely going to take some time off from WWE after WrestleMania 29. Reports have ranged from Punk being injured, to being frustrated with WWE creative, or being burnt out from a rigorous schedule throughout 2012 and 2013.
The creative team currently doesn’t have anyone in mind to put Punk against after WrestleMania, so the decision was made to give him time off so he can rest up.
Presently, Punk is still being advertised for the WWE tour in the UK after WrestleMania. However, those advertisements are likely outdated at this point.

I got in the door at 6pm went to the Fandango signing, which he was on time for but down on the main floor I noticed The Undertaker signing. So we tried to work something out and talk to the arena employees to try and get me us on the line. After about one hour, we were then sent to speak with a manager. We explained the situation about the tickets I purchased. He was really nice and comprehensive but didn’t want to give in to the request for a wristband. After being really persistent he gave in and was able to get us a wristband to The Undertaker signing. It was worth it, Taker was really approachable. Redwood was also not at the Supercard of Honor iPPV on Friday in NYC. Redwood tweeted earlier in the day: “Good luck to my friends @ringofhonor in NYC tonight. Should be an amazing show. I will be in South N.J. lifting weights and watching G.I. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels hosted “The Signing of Lifetime” Friday night from Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. Here are some highlights followed from the event.

– In a rather interesting move, WWE has decided to give The Miz a slight push before his WrestleMania 29 pre show match against Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett. During the WWE Main Event television taping, he was given a victory over Darren Young and Titus O’Neil in a handicap match. That strategy is usually reserved for the bigger stars in WWE.
– As noted yesterday here on the website, Brock Lesnar is doing no media at all for the WrestleMania 29 event, which is likely something he negotiated in his contract. ...WWE held their Superstars for Sandy Relief Party yesterday at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, hosted by Vince McMahon and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The Miz and sportscaster Joe Buck ran an auction that took place to benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief. Several unique prizes and experiences with Superstars and celebrities were auctioned off. Many are still open through April 9 at CharityBuzz.com. Some of the people in attendance included Mayor Michael Bloomberg, New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, Miss USA Nana Meriwether, Miss Teen USA Logan West, Rob Zombie, the Knicks City Dancers and most of the WWE roster.
