WWE will be represented at three separate events during the fisrt day of the 2013 Comic Con on Thursday, July 18 in San Diego, Calif. Also scheduled to appear is new signee Rob Van Dam appearing on behalf of WWE.
- Event 1 (10:00 a.m.): "Toys 101: An Evolution of the Modern Action Figure." Announced is a Q&A featuring "historians representing WWE" and other major comic-book brands. This is part of a partnership with Mattel, who is WWE's toy licensee.
- Event 2 (1:00 p.m.): "Mattel and WWE: Bring on the Action!" The Miz will be hosting a segment of MizTV with Dolph Ziggler.
